You will need to create a Voice Service for:
To create a new Voice Service, login to the Atomic portal and navigate to Services > Voice and click on the Add Service button. Below are the labels and its description for what is used.
Customer
You will first need to select a Customer entity in which the Service is associated to.
Service Type
You will then need to select the Service Type. This is dependant on the services that you have with us, but can generally be either:
Service Plan
Assign the relevant Service Plan that you would like associated with this Service.
Plan Assigned Channels
The number of concurrent voice channels associated with the selected Service Plan
Additional Channels
The number of channels you would like to add to the selected Service Plan
Total Channels
The sum total of available channels for the Service. This is by adding Plan Assigned Channels and Additional Channels.
Dial Format
A choice of either E.164 format (eg. 61212345678) or Domestic format (eg. 0212345678). This is the dial format expected from the Service.
Block Service
Toggle switch to block or unblock a Service.
Domestic Only
By toggling this button On, the Service will only be able to make domestic calls and users will not be able to make any international calls. All international calls will be blocked. Leaving the toggle to Off would mean that the Service will be able to make both domestic and international calls.
Enable CLI Masking
If the toggle is turned on, calls from the Service's CLI will be stripped and will appear as a Private Number.
Enable Call Forwarding
If the toggle is turned on, Call Forwarding can be configured for this Service.
Enable Voicemail
If the toggle is turned on, Voicemail can be setup for this Service. An additional set of settings can be configured. The email field is the email the platform will send the voicemail recording to. The Pin field is the Pin required when accessing the voicemail from a SIP Client (by dialling *98)
CLI Translation (Advanced Settings)
You can select the DID you want to use as the CLI for outgoing calls. All DID’s associated to the account will be displayed in a dropdown list for selection
This section may not appear if you do not have any DID’s associated to the account. In which case, the system will use whatever CLI you use from your equipment. If this is not configured properly, calls may not connect.
CLD Translation (Advanced Settings)
This is used to convert or translate calls from the Services's outbound number when a call is made. More information can be found here.
Max Session Time (Advanced Settings)
The maximum call duration in milliseconds before a call is automatically disconnected. The default is 3600ms, which is 60 minutes.
