Input Code Prompt is a feature allowing the caller the to enter a list of match patterns that will be used by the system to direct a call once a user has pressed a number, or a combination of multiple numbers for their telephone keypad.

Input Code Prompt Details
Account Number - This is like an internal extension number. The account number should be 3-7 digits in length and must be a unique number.
Display Number - Give the auto attendant a descriptive name (eg. Initial Greeting, Sales Queue, etc.)
CLI - The CLI used when the auto attendant uses when sending calls to an external number.
Input Code Prompt Settings
Select sound file - The recording that you will like to use for this queue. The file will need to be in mp3 format.
Mute When Key Pressed Detected - If turned on, when the system detects a key press, it will pause the recording that is playing.
Timeout (secs) - The timeout specified in this field starts either when the system sends the call to the recording or when the user enters a digit.
Once you have created an Input Code Prompt, you will now need to add a list to notify the system where the call should be routed to based on the input. To do this, follow the below steps.

You can use the below attached template to populate your data. Column A (Input Code) should be the code that the system will listen for when the caller presses their keypad. Column B (Number/Extension) will be the number or extension that the system will connect the call if there is a matching result.

Viewing and Modifying List
You can easily view the ICP list by clicking on the Manage button under Input Code Prompt List. To download the list to your device, click on the Replace button and click the Current List button. You can also upload a new list to replace the existing one by following the same steps.
You can also manually edit and edit entries. To do this, just click on the Manage button and from the new window, you can search, add and edit the Input Code or the destination number directly on the portal.
