sip3.atomcomm.com. Please ensure that you use the domain name rather then an IP Address. Certain services and possible interconnect issues may occur if the domain (sip3.atomcomm.com) is NOT used.Once you have created a Service, you will need to specify to the Atomic platform how do you intend to connect to this Service. A Service can connect to the Atomic platform in 3 ways:-
- SIP Endpoint (using Username/Password)
- SIP Outgoing Trunk
- SIP Incoming Trunk
SIP Endpoint

SIP Account - This is the username that is required to register for the service. This cannot be changed.
VOIP Password - Enter a secure password for the connection.
Enable SIP Account - To activate a SIP End Point, please ensure that you toggle this option to ON.
Trust CLI - The "Trust CLI" option has been implemented to avoid '403 Authentication Failed' error in cases where the CLI does not match the SIP Account. If this is disabled, and the CLI does not match the SIP Account name, the call will be rejected. Once enabled, the CLI can be different from the SIP Account and the call will not be rejected. We recommend that you turn this option ON.
Once you "Update" the settings, you can now register the SIP Endpoint to the Atomic platform and the Account is ready to be able to make and receive calls instantly.
SIP Outgoing Trunk
An Outgoing Trunk is a SIP Trunk that you will be sending calls from for call termination. You can create multiple trunks that fits your requirement.

Name - Give the connection a descriptive name
IP Address - Enter the IP address of the end device/switch
Prefix - This is a technical prefix that you would like to use for this trunk. You can leave this field blank if no prefix is required. If you enter 1234 as your prefix, and you want to call 61488889999, the system will be expecting 1234614888889999. When this is received, the system tags the call to the relevant account, and then strips the prefix 1234 before sending the call out to the PSTN.
Once this is saved the SIP Trunk is ready to make outgoing calls straight away.
SIP Incoming Trunk
An Incoming Trunk is a SIP Trunk where you will use to receive calls from your DID numbers. This is used when you setup a DID on the Atomic platform and you want the DID to land on a specific trunk.

Name - Give the connection a descriptive name
Primary IP Address - Enter the IP address of the end device/switch. This is the IP that will be used to land incoming calls. Should this IP be not reachable, only then will the platform send the incoming call to the Secondary IP Address.
Secondary IP Address - Enter the IP address of your redundant/back up device/switch. If the platform is unable to reach the Primary IP Address, it will try this connection.
