Porting Authority Form

1 min readVoice

A Porting Authority Form or PAF is required when submitting a port through the Atomic platform.

A PAF is a form that authorises the current subscriber of the phone number/s to port the numbers over to you and the Atomic platform. Should any dispute arise during the process of the port, or later down the line, you will need to have a signed PAF - it is your responsibility to obtain a signed PAF form from the customer directly.

To further facilitate the submission of number ports, the platform will auto generate a PAF upon a successful submission. You may also opt to upload a PAF form when porting a number across. Should you require a copy of the PAF form that was auto generated, you can navigate to Number Porting > Pending Request and search for the port request and click the Download link, which will start the downloading process for the requested port.

The Porting Authority Form that is generated by the platform is a consent between you, as our partner, and Atom for the submission of the number port. You should still obtain a signed PAF from your customer directly.
