The relaying and proxying of media through an intermediary system is useful for purposes such as NAT helping and network topology masking.
On the Atomic platform, there are 3 settings:
Never
When Necessary
Always
When Media Relay is set to Always, then your RTP will always be proxied through the Atomic platform.
When Media Relay is set to When Necessary, RTP will only be proxied when it comes from a NAT network.
When Media Relay is set to Never, RTP will not be proxied via the Atomic platform.
