Will i be notified when nearing my data limit?
You’ll get a reminder when your pack reaches 10MB data, 5 minutes, or 5 SMS remaining.
When my Daily Roaming pack expires, will i be notified?
If the expiry is cause by the date validity, the user will not be notified. They will not be able to use their data services until they send an SMS to 179 with the the relevant pack information (ROAM5, ROAM10, ROAM3).
When i have exhausted my daily limit or my roaming pack is expired, what happens then?
Users will still be able to receive SMS but not able to make or receive calls unless is activated on their device.
What happens if i travel to a country not covered by a roaming pack?
You won’t be able to roam. We advice that you purchase a local SIM to be able to continue to make calls and roam.
I received a welcome message in an eligible roaming destination. Will I also get a product opt-in reminder message if I don’t opt in immediately? Can I opt in as and when I need it in a roaming country?
Yes, you can opt into the travel packs anytime while you are in an eligible country. The welcome message is sent when you first connect to the network and after 7 days if you remain connected to the same roaming network.
I did not get a roaming message. What do i do?
Note that users will only get welcome message when they first latch onto a network and every 7 days (Even if user is already on a pack) if they remain connected. Please refer to our troubleshooting pack if you for any roaming issues.
Will I be able to make Calls and SMS to other destinations covered in the packs?
Yes you can make calls and SMS to both Australia and to countries covered in the pack.
Will i be able to receive calls and SMS If I don’t have a roaming pack on?
You will be able to receive SMS but not calls, if you don’t have a roaming pack on.* *You can make calls/SMS if you have access to WiFi.
Will i be able to remove an IR travel pack?
Once activated, it is not possible to remove an active travel pack from an end-user.
