LTE
A term used to specify that the 4G standard is used.
4G+
It is a more advanced 4G technology that would theoretically reach higher speeds than on normal 4G. Speed is capped at 100Mbps.
5G
5G is the next generation technology that has more bandwidth and lower latency. Speed is capped at 250Mbps.
Mobile Pooling
Mobile Pooling plans allow users from a common provisioned ‘pool’ to share data allowances. Our current pool can support up to 300 services.
Data Banking
Available on all Mobile and Mobile Broadband Plans. This capability allows users to store and carry-forward un-utilised data towards future bill cycle and beyond.
Machine to Machine (M2M)
M2M use is not available.
Quality of Service (QoS) Settings
Telstra Retail are mapped to either a ‘Background’ or ‘Interactive’ traffic class (QoS). All end users of the service will be mapped by Telstra to an ‘Interactive’ setting that is the same as default Telstra Retails ‘interactive’ setting. QoS setting cannot be changed by you or the end user.
Visual Voicemail
This is an Apple only product and not supported.
Mobile Hotspot
The service allows you to teether or share your mobile device internet with other device. The availability of this service is dependant on the users end device.
VoLTE
Voice over LTE is the capability to make calls over 4G (internet). VoLTE is available for all in-market plans.
Wi-Fi Calling
This service enables making calls over Wi-Fi (internet). Voice over Wi-Fi is available for all in-market plans.
Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS)
Premium SMS
Premium SMS service is barred.
Conference Call (6 party)
Conference calls with up to 6 people is available.
Static IP’s
Static IP’s are not available on the platform.
